I bought a Norma Kamali for Everlast shirt in New York last year and really love the quality and fit of the shirt. I recently ordered the following shirt from www.bluefly.com:

The shirt is amazing–the color and fit are fantastic.
Here are some other pieces I think would be great (I’m trying to be conservative and not order them..but that green dress is calling my name..):

I love these new shoes by Anne Klein, available at Macy’s. I bought the fuschia and orange and have already worn them with a fuschia shirt and a pair of great Silver jeans. The black and white are fantastic as well–you could wear them with a black shirt and white pants or black slacks with a white shirt. I love wearing black and white shoes to tie the whole thing together. (I already bought a pair of Paolo black and white patent shoes, or I would have bought both colors…)
I went shopping today (the weather was nice and I had the urge…) And, I was pleasantly surprised at what Express had to offer. They have some nice one shoulder shirts:

The one I bought has a cute ruffle around the top (I couldn’t find it online yet..) I got it in hot pink and white (great for spring and summer.)
I also purchased the following shirt (my friend picked this out for me…she is turning into a fellow fashionista!!):

The shirt is very sexy and will look great with a skirt or jeans…
Also, I was eyeballing this chiffon shirt. (They have myriad colors and patterns.) I think this shirt is great because it showcases the sexiest part of your arms and shoulders and is forgiving around the mid-section:

Good stuff!!!!
Betsey Johnson is known for her colorful, outrageous style. Well, she has a new (more affordable…) line known as Betseyville. The stuff is ultra fun. I bought the following shoes and absolutely love them:

Not only are they super cute, they are actually comfortable. (A HUGE bonus…)
I also love the following:

I also fell in love with (and ordered) the following tote bag from her line:

I think the theme song for this line should be the Cyndi Lauper classic, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” It’s always great to be unique and have fun!!!!!!
I found the perfect black shoe…I was on a mission this past weekend. I wanted to find a shoe that was sexy, yet girly and could be dressy or casual. I found it! They are called the Joli Noeud Dorcet 957 Sandals and they are fab-u-lous. The minute you slip them on you feel very chic. It’s no wonder Louboutins are the rage right now–they truly transform how you feel. Not to mention that brilliant idea of putting red on the bottom, so everyone knows you’re doing the Louboutin thang!
I got mine at Neiman Marcus. But, I found them online at Saks Fifth Avenue.

If you have been following my blog, you know I was nuts about nautical last spring/summer. Well, some things you just love and I am so happy to see that nautical-inspired clothing is BACK this year. I just love the navy blue and white look. And, of course, I’ve already found some favorites. The first shirt is from Victorias Secret. (Yes, I know–I’m still in love with the one shoulder look as well…)
Boston Proper (www.bostonproper.com) also has some great nautical looks. I love the 3/4 shirt (I have it) with the beige pants and the striped shoes. Great look!!

Okay, I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that I’ve tuned into a few episodes of “The Hills.” Yes, I know I’m much too old to watch such a show, but I have to make sure I sort of understand what the younger generation is doing, and more importantly, wearing! So, when I heard Lauren Conrad has a clothing line out, I had to check it out. She has very limited pieces (around 15) and much of it is a little too teen-like and flowing for my taste (but, I’m in my thirties–the younger generation could pull it off [provided then are very thin]). Personally, I have a hard time wearing anything that makes me look remotely pregnant (been there done that maternity clothing thing–don’t want to go back!) But, she does have an ultra sexy shirt that I love:

Word on the street is that her rival, Heidi Montag, is debuting her own clothing line, Heidiwood, in the Spring. Her stuff is going to be “more affordable and a more sexy fun style than Lauren’s” (according to Heidi herself as posted on people.com) I can assure you I am not a follower of the “Heidi/Lauren Feud.” I am, however, interested in their clothing lines…as a fresh, hip designer is always a breath of fresh air!

I recently went with a friend of mine to a fabulous mall in Troy, Michigan. I’ve been gazing lovingly at the new poppy print by D & G Dolce and Gabanna. They have a beautiful girly dress, they have an ultra-sexy bustier, they have fabulous shoes with a poppy print….oh my. So, I went to Neimans and I tried the bustier and the dress on. I LOVED them both. However, I was only going to allow myself one. So, my friend told me I “HAD TO” get the bustier. (I must admit, it is fantastic!) But, the dress would be awesome for an afternoon get together in the summer. So, if you have an outdoor event, GET THE DRESS. Do it for me and then tell me how much everyone ooohh’d and awww’d over you all day.
I got the bustier, which I will be wearing with my great Hudson whte jeans (shown on an earlier post) AND, I ordered the poppy shoes from zappos.com. (Neimans only carries the flat poppy shoe online and I’m not a huge fan of flats-plus my pants are too long for flats!!)
Come on warm weather!!!
